He's not wrong tho, the guy's definitely not neutral and likes to do this kind of thread (like this: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=236918&page=1 or this: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=238636&page=1 or this: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=235870&page=1 and so on... the pattern is clear and sometimes the truth must be said). One thing is to be a fan of a company, other is to target its "rival" by constantly trying to put it in a bad light).

Btw, here is the source you asked regarding Labo:

Just to remember that 1st bringing users historics on threads are not considered good behavior. Attacking people due to their preferences also aren't.

Regarding Labo that is SHIPPED which is different than SOLD.

Not sure where the "hater" and "fanboy" verbiage came into play. That was your interpretation of a cryptic message. Perhaps you had these thoughts subliminally in your head regarding the OP? Might wanna take that up with him.

Nope, so you are saying you were cryptic in a way to hide your very obvious attacks?

Again, your interpretation... You came up with a hypothesis based on your preconceived ideas on both of us. You think he's a "hater" and "fanboy", your words, not mine.

Yes sure, so what did you mean by he not being neutral and advising people to look at who was posting the OP?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Why ask now? Anything I say will be refuted by your paranoia lol

Having a hard time understanding what you are trying to say. The thread title and first paragraph tell us that you believe Labo is going to sell a lot more this holiday season then what it already has (which isn't much). Then in your response you believe that Labo's life time sales will fail to meet the goal you originally believed it would reach, that being 2 million.

So.... what are you asking or implying, that even if the sales "explode" this holiday Labo will still fail to meet 2 million by the end of its life?

I didn't say that I believe LABO is going to sell a lot more this Holiday compared to its launch. I said that many others here predicted that.

Your post is a little hard to understand. I assume English is not your native tongue, sorry.

I'm not native speaker, but for me it was very clear.

Are people really taking the bait, considering the OP?

It's not bait if it's the argument that people have had for the product since its lukewarm debut.

Exactly.  We were constantly being told to wait til the holidays.  Just glad these sales should be the end of that talking point.  In Japan, a country you think would embrace the concept more than most, it sold only 3.6K units in a week that the Switch sold ~280K.

Keep in mind, Nintendo only said sales will accelerate during holidays, not necessarily explode (which they were correct as the Variety and Vehicle Kits both saw bumps throughout November and December in Japan). I honestly don't think Nintendo sees Labo as a system seller, probably because it's too big and too complex to be one. But it is a great product for kids who already own a Switch, so Nintendo looks to be focusing on that. It's hard to tell what they expected from Labo since their marketing for it has been very weird and unconventional. We'll perhaps know its fate after the holidays are over.

Considering Nintendo was predicting 20M this FY, it's pretty easy to see that they thought that Labo would be a system seller.  They expected it to help them in the early half of the year, until they got to their heavy hitters.  It failed to do that, which is why I think it is safe to assume they will be 2M-3M below that target.

As failed as Detroit Become Human, Shadow of the Collossus, Ni No Kuni II, Soul Calibur VI and many others. What a bunch of falures.

Well at least they didn't have to keep developing/supporting multiple games for a single project ...

If exposing a clear pattern is considered bad behavior, I couldn't care less honestly. I'm not the one coming here to mostly create threads trying to downplay a company I dislike. And I never attacked someone for their preferences in this thread, this is not my MO, I just stated something very clear that anyone can perceive... lol. You can check on the threads I created here (there are positive ones regarding everything, maybe except Microsoft, lol). It seems like you're the one jumping to conclusions about everyone very quickly.

Btw, that's all I wanted to say as I already expressed my views towards the main point of the thread (Labo exploding), so I'm moving on.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
