Great to see more people coming over to this way of thinking. I'd been arguing this from the day the Switch launched. Obviously there will be some cases where PS4 loses sales to Switch but in general the PS4 isn't hampered and visa versa. I've always said a gaming market with just Nintendo, Sony and PC would be ideal and all 3 would do very well.

Even Sony itself underestimated PS4 this year, so nothing strange if some people also did. I think that Sony (and some people) didnt expect that GoW and Spiderman will be so strong and move so much systems, of course RDR2 will also have big effect during holiday season.

I mean they do in some degree, but we already saw that both PS4 and Switch can do great in same month, both PS4 and Switch will have great Holiday season in any case, saying that Switch will not do during Holiday season because PS4 Spiderman $199 bundle is wrong.

People accusing him for constantly downplaying Nintendo and Switch and being constantly negative about Switch sales (and that was basically only thing he was doing). He said that Switch sales will fail of a cliff after holiday season, and that become meme.

Multiple people making fun of another user every week because of a terrible prediction that was made a year ago isn't funny. It's malicious. It doesn't matter if it's a "meme" it's needless taunting on a very frequent basis, and it's not done in good jest when many of the users doing it clearly don't like him.

But I never said PS4 will affect Switch. I often say Switch has no chance to beat the PS4 in a particular month but I never say Switch doesn't sell because of PS4.
