Mumm-ra all day long and twice on Saturday mornings. He was a badass and actually did evil things. Skeletor just kind of stood around and complained.

If you're talking about 2011 Thundercats, you may have a case.
80's Mumm-ra would be completely decimated by 80's Skeletor, however.
