doesn't sound that good for fallout...

Cant really review an online only game before it releases though.

Well the game clearly isn't a 1/10. Just proving again that user scores are useless.

Game has been playable for quite some time already. Doesn’t change the fact these are mostly and most likely troll ratings.

That said, I tried to watch a stream yesterday and it was incredibly boring and looked ugly as hell.

Played the BETA and cancelled my preorder afterwards.
Game is bland as hell. Its like Fallout 4 without a soul.

I hope it's a flop in sales so Bethesda won't try to pull this Games as Service crap again, or at least if they do they farm it off to Zenimax like they did with ESO.

I'm not getting the game but User Review aggregate scores mean nothing.

They took the building mechanic from Fallout 4 and made an entire MP game out of it. Tough luck, if you didn't actually like the building side of Fallout 4 and usually play Fallout for the story and exploration.

Played the Beta too, a lot of resources copied from F4, was buggy as me and a friend couldn't complete a missing he was doing as it was glitched.

Plus we went to a marker were there was a big dog and there was no doggie there.

Hmm, pie.

You can't trust user reviews for a game like this, do you honestly think that most of those people have played the game already when it has only been in beta? Obviously because it is not a singleplayer game Bethesda's singleplayer fans were going to throw a ton of hate at it, I'm sure Bethesda expected as much. Fact is, Fallout 76 still got a good many preorders (it was top 20 on Amazon for a few weeks after it was announced, and has made it's way back to #5 on PC and top 30 on PS4 and XB1 on release day). While the sales are going to be nowhere near Fallout 4 tier, it will still sell well over 1m first week including digital I'm sure. Also, due to their nature of frequent updates, online games steadily improve over time, people thought that Bethesda's other online game, Elder Scrolls Online, would flop as well, and it kind of did on release, but after years of steady improvements it became a big success for Bethesda/Zenimax, with 10m+ total players and 2.5m monthly active players at last official count.

Not F3 or F4 type of success that's for sure, but obviously it's gonna make a sizeable number by the end.
