Forums - Sales Discussion - Crash Bandicoot is still the best selling weekly game in the UK after 60 weeks

I mean this is just insane, combine the PS4. XOne and Switch SKU's and it will be the number 1 in the chart.

Activision would be really stupid to not continue with the Crash Bandicoot series in the future.

Sounds a lot less impressive when considering that the Switch and Xbox versions released only eight weeks ago.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

Doesn't change the fact that the game has been available to buy for more than 60 weeks now.

Yeah, but you need to factor in both. The fact that it's been available for more than 60 weeks means that it's likely that the majority of sales occurred long ago, and the fact that new versions were released only recently means that it has recently had a spike in its sales numbers.

Hopefully this sends a message to devs that people want more 3d platformers.

Spiderman has yet to release. This thread is about VGC's UK charts for the week ending August 18th.

Yes, hopefully Spyro will follow the same path as Crash.

Well has the game been #1 for every one of those 60 weeks? Otherwise it sounds a lot more impressive than it really is considering it just released for the Switch.
