Despite me being a huge Spider-Man fan and really liking this game, I feel like it's not perfect. I've never played a Spidey game before, so the swing mechanics on a large scale feel excellent and like they've been improved from previous games, but in a smaller scale they feel like a nuisance. I don't need to swing around one building just to get to a backpack. And it also makes traversing on the challenges way too difficult to get the third tier rewards.
I still haven't finished it because I'm basically swinging around the city collecting whatever I can and completing whatever side mission I encounter before proceeding with the main story. For me, that's a mark of excellent side quests implementation. The combat, while simple, it takes a bit to master. But it's not way too unforgiving as it lets you explore several more strategies on different environments. And they knocked the ball out of the park with the suits, their interchangeable skills and the powerups. I love this game, even with flaws and all. I can't wait for the NG+.
