Reggie "My Body is Ready" Fils-Ami'e has been talking about other future crossovers with outside developers.

I think it's great that Nintendo is considering more crossovers, but I don't know what ones would happen, or how.

Maybe we'll finally get a Mario and Sonic crossover that's not about the Olympics, or a crossover between Xenoblade Chronicles and Final Fantasy.

What do you make of this?

Since they've already worked together, why not a Mario + Rayman platformer?

Yeah, that'd be great, and we're tired of Rayman being pushed aside in favor of Rabbids all the time.

I still want my Sonic/Mario RPG'ish crossover where Sonic and Mario's worlds collide and Bowser and Robtnik team up to take them out

Me too, but more as a platformer, and I don't care how or why he has to, but Mario would need to be able to do the same kind of levels as Sonic. Maybe have him wear supercharged overalls or something.

This makes so much sense, we can only hope that now when their Olympics-games are seemingly done a project like this is closer to being real

Sadly, It prob will never happen. There would be too much conflict on who gets creative control between SEGA/Nintendo i think

Hm, didn't think about it in that way, maybe why they went the sports-game route in the first place. Well, we can still hope.
