Nothing do or will come close to God of War this year, instant GOTY.
Next year the GOTY is also locked on Ghost of Tsushima. (even with TLoU 2, Nioh 2 and Sekiro)

Red Dead Redemption 2 just needs to match the first game in quality and it will be better then God of War.  Forza Horizon 4 just needs to be slightly better then the third one and it will be almost as good or just as good as God of War.

That is one terrible poll there. Where is Far Cry 5, Dragonball Fighterz and A Way Out?

You can replace those random games no one even knows about with these.

Totally agree at least he should have replaced one of those random games with a other option.

Farcry 5 and SoD 2 were my favorite, since they aren't on the list.

Redemption was amazing but it was about GoW III level, a bit lower.

GoW 4 was leaps and bounds better than III, so no, if Redemption 2 is as good as the first it won't come close to GoW 4.

How does Far Cry 5 compare to 1-4 and Primal? I don't know where people would rank it.

I pre-ordered Detroit but every time I tried to play it, something happened. Well, I'm playing it now and it's EASILY my favorite new experience of the year. Haven't finished it yet but it is a hell of a ride!

Red Dead Redemption has a higher metascore then any GOW game so yeah again if RDR 2 is as good as the first one it will be better then God of War.

Metascore, lol.

GOW was ok and pretty easy to platinum but it honestly left absolutely no impact on me. In hindsight it was somewhat boring and repetitive. And the absent of boss battles compared to the insanely amazing, non-stop boss battles of GOW 3 definitely came to mind. And the switch to Norse mythology just felt awkward and forced. Personally it was an ok game but nothing innovative.

I skipped SotC because I played the original and PS3 HD remake. I couldn't justify the re-remake.
I've been on the border of buying Ni Nu Kuni 2 for a while now but the comments here are making me considering the purchase. The first one was fun.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but Detroit Becomes Human is my most enjoyable game this year so far.
