Hollow Knight is a Nintendo Switch Exclusive and It's at 93 meta strange ? Is it the type of game the masses like ? Cuphead another Xbox indie Exclusive gets praised on Xbox platform ? I guess it's preference?

Because all of it's hype has passed. It was released like more than a year ago on PC and it was already critically acclaimed then.

Probably because Cuphead and Ori were brand new games when released on the xbox while Hollow Knight is a year-and-a-half old PC port. That being said, it was #2 in the US eShop last week so people care about it.

It is like 2nd on the best sellers on the eshop for me. It is doing really well on the switch pretty sure it is well liked.

Reviews dont necessarily mean better. Ori to me is one of best Indie games iv played this generation while CupHead doesnt do it for me and they both have similar reviews.
Hollow Knight is amazing but even if its sitting on a 99 meta, it won't make me change my mind.

Its because of gameplay and graphics.... theres a vast gulf there.

 

^ this is not even remotely close how gorgeous Ori and the blind forrest looks.
