Forums - Sales Discussion - Who will be the big loser and winner of the stacked October lineup?

I searched for this topic and couldn't find it, i can't believe no one has opened a discussion on what a find a very interesting topic.

In October 2018 a new Assassins Creed, Call of Duty Black Ops, Battlefield and Red Dead Redemption will release in the same order in consecutive weeks. One or probably even tho of those games will suffer in sales as a result. My initial guess would be that Assassins Creed would suffer the most and Red Dead will be the bigger winner. But if I look closer, Assassins Creed will benefit from being the first, Battlefield V's feedback from the community has been very mixed and Call of Duty will sell strong no matter what (which BTW is completely inexplicable, the game is basically the same every year and so fucking basic).

Nah, the next COD game will be down from the OG 2WW setting from last year (with disgusting loot boxes pratices also) which garnered hype because of it.

AssCreed will do a bit lower than Origins since it's releasing on annual schedule like they did with Unity/Syndicate ... that ended up badly.

Red Dead Redemption 2 .... I don't know. But I don't see it doing like GTAV because it's simply not GTA in the end (Let's face it), will do over 10M LT easily though.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be the big winner in my view.
It's arguably the big game of this year and guaranteed to be a Game of the Year candidate. CoD and Battlefield will be a bit lower than they usually are because of this, but not enough to draw any attention.
Assassin's Creed will suffer the most.

Sales wise CoD will win easily, as it always does, probably followed by RDR2, just as its not annual and the hype has built for it.

How? By selling the most and the least copies/ make the most and least money.

I think Red Dead will take the victory. I think COD will be hit the hardest.

Honestly, all four will sell well but I do feel that Assassin's Creed Odyssey will sell the least and Red Dead will sell the most. COD and Battlefield will be close in terms of sales.

Hopefully Ass creed
