Thus far we have Smash and Pokemon (spinoff) coming this year and Sony's forcast for PS4 sales are lower than last year so it will probably be down YoY this holiday. MS has not won a holiday season in a long time so i dont expect them to win any until maybe next gen. There is also a possibility that we could see Nintendo announce another big holiday game at E3.

I expect Smash and Pokemon to sell at least 12 million this year and I also expect the switch to be way ahead of the PS4 and XBO in terms of sales this holiday.

It'll do better than last year is what I will say. (Which is very good)

From what we know right now I don't know what would stop the Nintendo Holiday freight-train. RDR will of course sell well, so will COD but will they push hardware, i don't think so

i think pokemon go wont be a huge success, it looks real stupid and impressions have been negative. it will do the same as last year.

This. CoD and RDR2 will push sale but i don't think they will be enough. There has already been 5 CoD games this gen so must players already have a current gen console. Alsow ith the BR mode the game will be big on PC and take away sales. For RDR2 I think a lot of the fans are GTAV fans and that they already have a console. I could see some PC players buying consoles to play it though but those sales will be split between PS4 and XBO.

But I agree in that it will do around as well as last year, although anywhere from about 1-3 million more for the calendar year.

Current fiscal year will still be around 20 million shipped though.
