I only watched two or three episodes and much of the acting seemed forced or somehow off. I will not miss it. Sad to hear Last Man on Earth, The Mick and especially Brooklyn Nine-Nine got canned though. Last Man was OK. The Mick helped fill in between seasons of It's always Sunny. As for the Nine-Nine I really like Terry Crews & Adam Samberg and really enjoyed the rest of the cast with the exception of Chelsea Peretti.

Back to the OP I never would have guessed Jarrett as being African-American looking at her pictures.

Last Man on Earth probably was kinda expensive to shoot and it had very low ratings so it getting canceled kinda made sense.  But The Mick should have lasted at least one more season that show was hilarious.   Nine-Nine probably has a decent chance of lasting at least two more seasons on NBC.

Another case where right to consequence successfully prevailed. I believe that anyone has the right to say whatever they want, but in cases such as this, there are consequences to words. Never watched Roseanne or its revival, so I wont really miss it. I don't need politics catered to me in reality shows, whether it's left or right wing, so the idea that Roseanne appeals to right wingers doesn't make me anymore interested in it. I just want a show that has a great cast and world that doesn't talk down to me for my beliefs.

That being said, I need a suggestion for what I should watch next. I've always been interested in Atlanta, but seeing Animal Kingdom promos on TNT during the playoffs has me unsure on which of these two I should watch next. Does anyone watch either one of these two, and are they good?

The way I understood it, the site didn't so much as cater to the right as it does simply not call them evil every ten seconds. Apparently, the jokes swayed back and forth to make fun of both sides, but not exclusively picking on the right appealed to conservatives in a world where every TV show is either apolitical or hard left.

She's not. She's Iranian. Rule of thumb though, if you are white and you comment on a minorities look you are automatically deemed racist.

The only reason I say it was seen as a more right leaning show is because Roseanne herself was right leaning like it was adding something to the show. I'm aware it made fun of both sides, but something like this equates to Lando being a pansexual, it isn't bad per say, but in reality it adds next to little substance about the characters and show itself which makes it come off as forced.

They also talk about how Barr's kids are all leftist, which causes a lot of tendon in the family (something they emulate in the show). So no, it's not like saying Lando is pan, because they don't also present a counter argument or counterpoint.

Within one week Disney cancels their Star Wars profits, Battlefield 5 Trailer gets mass downvoted, and now this profitable show is gone. It starts getting to the bottom line.

Hopefully FOX revives it like they did with Last Man Standing after ABC cancelled it because of Tim Allen's "Being a conservative in Hollywood is like being a Jew in Nazi Germany" comment. ABC has become far too PC and leftist in recent years, it's a shame, they were once one of my favorite tv stations.

I've seen comics of other colors make racist jokes left and right and barely anybody bats an eyelash, but as soon as Roseanne, a white comic, does it, it's suddenly the worst thing in the world. The left has far too many easily offended snowflakes sadly.

They probably would pick up that garbage laugh track show it would fit right in with all the new garbage laugh track shows that they have replacing actual good shows that they cancelled (The Mick, The Last Man on Earth, Brooklyn Nine-Nine).

I'm a pretty big fan of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but I adored The Last Man On Earth. It DID have it's rough patches, but when it hit for me, which was often, it hit big. Was pretty sullen, and a bit angry when I found out it had been cancelled. I knew it was on the bubble, but hoped for the best. Will Forte said, and he's right, paraphrasing here: "I hope we get renewed, because that ending is worse than the Soprano's".

I’m one of the most anti-SJW people out there, but what she tweeted was pretty damn messed up. Like the racism was so blatant, so I can understand why other cast members want nothing to do with her. I’m honestly surprised she thought herself somehow that invincible that she could get away with that in 2018 lol
