God of War sold 3.1 million units. This is an amazing feat for the series. Tons of people are getting into the series because of the amazing reviews that God of War has got. Not known to them is that God of War has always had this kind of critical acclaim. God of War has 94, 93 and 92 average scores for the trilogy.

God of War as a series has an understandable but wrong reputation of button masher and QTE fest. Its not that the games can't be played as button mashers on easy and normal difficulty and that there aren't tons of QTE's but they are blown out of proportion. High difficulties that players love to have these days never were button mashers and you have to be tactile and skilled to beat the game. The QTE's are highly cinematic and epic moments in bosses and against normal enemies they can be ignored and I'd say the games are fun to play when you don't do QTE's on every enemy when you've reduced their health.

The story and lore in old God of War games are underrated. Kratos might not be the deep character he is in God of War but the story has depth, there is no cussing and there are some very emotional moments in the games. Its amazing that they captured the essence of Greek mythology so well with the characters and setting. There are tons of players who never played the portable games and Kratos Collection would do well for them and they would see a different side of the old Kratos which makes him a multi dimensional character.

Oh yeah, that would be great.

Add Ascension to God of War Saga and release it on PS4. I'd be all over that.

Sony should call Bluepoint.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

I certainly want to go back and play the titles I missed.

Great idea. Maybe they could rework the first trilogy + ascension and release them all on a single box. The PSP games are probably a bit tough to work and would probably require tons of effort, that's why I didn't include them.

It would make an awesome collection. If it came out on PS5, I would buy in instantly (not that I won't eventually anyway xD).

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Would be amazing though the God of War trilogy and accession in fluid 4k 60fps, with HDR, with a massive boost to lightening and shadow quality, geometry and textures reworked. I would also buy that instantly and I already played all the god of war games.

Is the new game really bringing in that many new players? still a good idea, though

Hopefully, that would be really awesome! But I think if this happens at all it will be a release for Playstation 5.

I played and beat all of them (except for Ascension) but I'd definitely jump on the chance to have all of the games on one format. I'm OCD like that.

Exactly. It could work out well for PS5 like the Nathan Drake Collection worked for PS4 (an early game that brings fans to the new console as well as being a good introduction point for new players of the series).
