Nukes will not be use if the war break, according to war expert.  Nukes exist  as deterrent, and not use as weapon. Because once u use Nukes there will be no war at all. 

Did you know bees die when they sting you? A bee that stings you dies cause it disembowels itself as it plunges its dart in your skin. So this is not a win for the bee, yet if you bother a bee you better believe it will not hesitate to sting you...

Nukes are indeed a deterrent but should the other side not be deterred for some reason then you better believe that nukes will be used. If you think that Russia can attack the US and that the US will do nothing about it or the US attack Russia without Russia defending itself you are missing the point. The only scenario in which things would not degenerate into WW3 and nukes being used is if somehow the two parties wage a conventional war in a localized region like in Syria. The two parties could in theory simply exchange missiles attacks inside Syria.

But should that happen you can bet your last tooth that neither party will accept being attacked by the other one without showing real teeth and that's when the threat and actual use of nukes becomes a very serious reality. At that point it's not about winning, it's about making sure the other side loses too.

That's why a big country like US and Russia will not able to  the pull a trigger, unless it's a poor country runs by idiot (and that's even impossible how idiot  can even become a President and have Nukes). Even crazy leader Kim Jong Un now this. 

Please Read a couple post before me , there are some user in this forum who is expert and gave their reason. Some of the guy teach Strategy and security for Army.  I am not an expert in this regard that's why i am starting a thread about war  , I am just want to know what people think if both country engage in war without using Nukes. I dont want to hear an opinion like " both in the end will use Nukes" . i dont want to hear that, it's like saying i dont want to comment. 

You did mention that you want a modern war with no nukes used.

We probably overpopulated the earth so this was going to be inevitable but I don't think the war on syria would start it. I think controlling how China expands as a global power will cause it. I don't think Syria matters to most people claims it to be. It's not a global power and most people from Europe would rather want syrians and the other immigrants to go back home than taking them in.

China is more of a threat to US, Japan and Europe. If its only trade war then its ok fine but I hope it does not escalate to something serious like a world war 3. People are not used to it because that would mean social media will stop lol. The world has become so free that I don't think leaders will last in office if they declared war.
