Here is the latest video to DF's analysis on the game Sea of Thieves.

Good to see DF use their un-bias opinions and what they see in this beautiful game.

There is a future Patch coming in 1 week's time to fix the bugs and add improvements (Linked below)

You do realise DF just care for the technical side of things? No one ever critisized the technology.

Watch the video if you care to debate this.

Ill save you some time, watch from 16:30

The game does indeed look pretty impressive technically.

It has impressive technical aspects. I'm just not a fan of the art direction, so that always sticks out for me. But at areas where that is less noticeable, like the waves of the ocean, it looks really nice.

As opposed to something like a site called Xbox Tavern that gave it a 73? Which according to their scale is good.

"Sea of Thieves offers a stunning world for players to explore and uncover its secrets. It’s fun, often hilarious, and unique. Though, the lack of meaningful structure and its simplistic gameplay really does hurt the experience. The game needs to offer more than cosmetic stature and acquisition if it wants a lengthy lifespan. Still, this is one of the few exclusives that Microsoft can, and should, be proud of."

Who are you suggesting has been biased, and how?

So do they confirm that the waves are calculated by the "power of the cloud"?

This all their in depth analysis on that

A complex, dynamic wave system has been engineered, enabling a wide variety of conditions ranging from a calm, clear ocean to powerful, tempestuous storms. The waves are synchronised between individual systems too, allowing the simulation to line up between each console when playing together online.

I doubt the cloud does anything, just makes sure each console is generating the same combination.

Anyway didn't AC 4 already have dynamic oceans. No multiplayer though.

If Teh Cloudz would actually do any calculation, people with bad internet would have a lagging ocean. There is no cloud calculation in this game, never was. This was just speculation from some random website a few weeks ago.

Not sure, I believe Vasto emailed Rare for that info.

I can safely say my internet is not the best and I do get laggy oceans here and there depending on how my net is feeling on the day. So I guess based off your post it does use the cloud if laggy oceans is the case of it being rendered by the cloud.

Haha why are your posts always filled with statements with no substance. Be nice if you could apply proof and links of your standing than just your opinions with no experience. Doesn't help your argument especially since you haven't played the game to know any of this. Yes the Ocean lags in Sea of Thieves, something you probably would have known if you played the game.
