VGChartz may not be very accurate, but I doubt they're off by more than 2 million here.

While XBox is slowing down in hardware, software sales aren't that bad. And PS4 was actually up YoY in software. So Black Ops 4 can definitely outsell Black Ops 3, which released back in 2015 (when there weren't as many PS4s and X1s yet).

CoD WWII has more than 15 million people on the leaderboards on PS4 alone and that isn't counting people who only play the campaign and never started MP. Xbox One has about 8 million people on the leaderboards. On PC it's more or less dead, but should be another million or so. Granted, you have the occasional double accounts here and there, but that should even out with the people who only play single player. It isn't perfectly accurate, but it gives you an idea and based on that I assume that WWII has sold well over 20 million.

You have to add up all the versions. Not adding them up is just deceptive its sales of a game??

If BO4 turns out to be very decent and we see Switch port, I'd say BO4. WWII sold over 17 million and I don't see new BO selling less than that. Unless ... we see Pokemon for Switch in 2018. That might change everything. I honestly don't think that RDR2 will reach CoD numbers this year, but it will have legs.

Makes no difference to me what sells the most this year. My dollars go to Far Cry 5, Sea of Thieves, and Forza Horizon 4. Hopefully MSs E3 presentation has a fourth game to look forward to this year!
