We cant all like the same thing, but The Witcher 3 is the best game of 2015 and one of the best RPGs ever made.

Unless someone thinks it isn't.

Some people are never happy....right viv?!

If their happiness is solely dependent on outside things it's actually pretty sad.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Quality isn't subjective, and people really need to stop acting like it is. Just because one likes or dislikes something to varying degrees doesn't change it's overall quality. Witcher 3 is easily one of the best RPGs ever made, and anyone who makes an argument that it's not, is simply flat out wrong.

Quality is certainly not subjective. However, no one ever says "The objective quality of the Witcher is some of the best in RPGs ever". However, quality is only one part of what makes a thing "the best" for someone. Quality isn't even an argument when certain elements you're looking for are completely missing or if there are specific flaws that turn you off completely.

Does the Witcher 3 have a certain level of quality above most other RPGs? Absolutely. Would I consider it among the best RPGs in my subjective opinion? Hell no.

I would say exactly that.

I think I understand what you're talking about though, because while Witcher 3 is classified as an RPG, I personally view it more as the world's most expansive action/adventure game that has RPG mechanics. You're looking for more pen and paper, classic RPG elements, I would guess.

Well, happiness is heavily affected by your senses, which react to outside things.

Indeed. I'm missing a lot of the R in this supposed RPG. And no quality control could make up for that.

Some things are easier to obtain and always around you, so you don't have to look very hard to find and make your happiness. I was rather talking about people who have very specific things needed to achieve happiness, things that are completely out of their control. For example other people or game consoles.

But that is politically correct. It just doesn't censor things like SJWs do.

It portrays all the things you listed as negative things. Anti-politically correct would be to glorify beauty, the upper class ladies, prostition and sex and violence. But Witcher 3 is this clichéd "look how dirty and miserable our world is (because it's really a reflection of our world and all that is considered wrong in it by those who are politically correct)". The Witcher 3 is cultural critique against hierarchies, tradition, inequality, selfishness etc.

But the attractive sorceresses, I'll give them that perhaps. They're a bit too attractive and feminine to be considered 100% politically correct. But they'll tone down the sexyness of the sorceresses until their next game.

So... Realism is politically correct??

I don't know what he expects of games.

It took around ten hours for me to really get into it. I remember buying it and trying it for an hour and leaving it in my office drawer for close to 4 months.

However when I came back I decided to start a new game with the little experience I had playing and it completely turned the whole experience I had. The writing is wonderful, the quest are tangible, the cast is truly deep enough where even off shoot quest leave a impact. It truly is an amazing game.

However not for everyone. A very hard learning curve and depending on the level you play a Dark Souls style of abuse. If you're not into two hundred plus hour RPG's then step away from this. If you're into just hardcore fantasy then saddle up because she's a beauty.

Also as a game lover you cannot but be beyond impressed by the attention to detail and love this title received.
