Forums - Gaming Discussion - Next Dragon Age game will be a "live" game

EA strikes again.I already consider Bioware dead at this point. Its a shame really.

Anyways, by "live" it seems that the next Dragon Age story will be an ongoing experience, in the sense that the story will be updated regulary. In another words, a game as a service game.Even on single player focused games, EA tries to push this bullshit practice. It may be mean to say this, but I hope this approach fails, at least as far as single player games are concerned.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I don't really see the point of not giving the story right away?

You get to release the game earlier because you don't have to worry about finishing the story, and then you get to make more money by selling continued story DLC at a later date.

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018.

F U very much then.

What a surprise. I'm well past the point where I'd ever buy an EA game again, even if they tried to reverse course in desperation. I'd rather them continue down this path, hopefully towards oblivion.

Did someone say "dead" game?

Guess no journey to Tevinter for me then

Nothing to see here, move along

Fucking EA man...

At this point, even if I was looking forward to Anthem I would probably force myself not to play it, because it’s only a matter of time before they screw everything up

I make game analyses on youtube:

Shadow of the Colossus:

i'm not quite sure it will be as bad as is being made out. it would take some stupidity to say fans would be relieved at the direction of the game if it had a load of bs

but i will do what i always do with RPGs, wait for the complete edition
