Forums - Sony Discussion - Dissidia: Final Fantasy Open Beta LIVE now. Doesn't Require PS Plus.

The beta begins today, January 12, and runs until January 21.
Works even if you don't have PS Plus.

~Update~
The game will switch up the roster on the 15th and 18th.

I hope to get to play using Edea.

You can invite friends and play in groups of 3 vs 3.
Unlock new moves, weapons, costumes and other things as you progress.

Spoiler alert: It's fun!

I already have DB:F:Z ordered.

Haven't decided on this yet. So it is good they are doing a long open-beta.

  • Deadliest mass shooting by an individual in US history (10/01/2017)
  • Deadliest high school shooting in US history (02/14/2018)
  • Deadliest massacre of Jews in US history (10/27/2018)
  • Political assassination attempt of TWO former presidents(and 10+ other people)  (10/23/2018 - and beyond)

eh i had more fun playing it on arcade like 2 years ago.
dunno... but now that im playing it again im on the winning or losing team and honestly have no idea how we won or lost.
not sure if its the hud... or something but teh game just feels confusing in telling what the heck is actually happening at times.

Damn these betas, convincing me to buy the games sooner than I planned. (First Monster Hunter, now this. And I'm pretty sure I'll get FighterZ Day 1 whether I play the Beta or not.)

That was my experience when I played the Closed Beta a few months back.
But this time around they have a pretty thorough Tutorial mode.

That's just the Basic section of the Combat portion of the tutorial. There's lots more.

Cool will check

I played in the closed beta last year and I was sold on the game back then since I love Dissidia anyway, although knowing there's a season pass and stuff for extra content, I think I'm gonna' do what I always do with fighting games, wait for the "complete" edition to release, lol.

Hmm they said they aim for 50+ playable fighters but will they be free? Or paid DLC ?
Anywaym, goddamn, DB,MH,this, January and wallet is crying ?

There's an open beta? Cool, I'll have to try it then.

EDIT: Nevermind, Store isn't working AGAIN. It really, really wants to keep me logged out. I swear Sony has by far the worst marketplace I've ever used.

So what's the verdict on this latest ps4 exclusive. Is it good?
