Sonic Forces selling on Switch 3x more. Ok start for DOOM (surprise bitches editon lol)
I'm looking forward for L.A. Noire's numbers, Rime and Skyrim. It should be fun!

Sonic Forces sells more on Switch than PS4 and Xbox One combined, I did not see that coming.

Great hardware sales for xbox, great software for ps4

Safe to say X was primarily bought by existing XBO owners since there was no surge in software sales.

I think so too but there's probably a good amount of new consumers. There are 8 Xbox games I'm the top 20 which is more than the PS4 and Switch and Xbox usually has less games in the top 20 than PS4.

Respectable numbers for Doom. Its not good, but lets face it, it wouldnt sell hundreds of thousands on units, at least on FW.All things considered, and comparing to Wolfenstein 2 performance, Doom had respectable numbers. With Europe it will be probably be above 100k physically for first week.

As for Sonic, thats just sad.Yeah, it did best on Switch and all, but thats just a low number.Really sad to see, even if Im not a fan of Sonic, how much the blue blur has fallen.

On a happy note, there is now a real chance that Mania will outsell this game and it will be simply poetic!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Sonic could be considered a Nintendo mascot at this point :P 100k approx. for 1st week in the US is bad though .... not like the game had any chance to do good due the bad release date and the bad word of mouth it suffered.

Sorry for the delay. Wasn't just Xmas, we also had some problems with the game entries in the database, which showed up after I posted the pre-order chart, so that ate up a lot of time.

On the upside I'll hopefully get back into a routine now - tho we're re-launching the game database soon (in a sort of advanced beta state; Talon intends to continuously work on it post-launch, though the core functionality should be there from day 1, and Zekkyou's working on some great graphics that won't be incorporated until after we're live) so it depends how smoothly that all goes.
