Beat it yesterday. The final boss and ending are awesome.
There is so much to do after the game. Got about 300 moons...

2 months away from actually buying the game. It's gonna be a long wait.
Still waiting to pick up the switch, but I will deff love this game once I get one.
Hoping they will release a model that just has the portable aspect and not the docking station and stuff. I will wait 2 more years and else just pick up the model they have and all the games I missed

I have spent hours searching the waterfall (2nd?) lvl for purple coins and moons. Finally had to give up and move on with 15 moons and 43/50 purple coins. Must have gotten 3 from hat town I guess cuz the ship has an 18 on it.
Fantastic game so far. It's beautiful to look at and the staggering amount of "secrets" to find just in the one lvl was impressive. I especially enjoy the integration of old school 2d Mario sections within the levels. It really is a masterpiece.
The switch is just on fire. price of admission is worth every single penny and more, imo. If there was never a single game made for it again after this point...it'd still be worth it. But ohhh man, the games are coming. Stoked!
After initially using the Pro Controller exclusively, and then playing in Portable mode quite a bit, I decided to give two Joycons a try.
I think this is how the game was meant to be played! It's fantastic!!!

Agree, it's the best control scheme for me too.
Doing the post-game now, it's pretty rich. Tons of exploration and challenging platforming. Loving it so far. It's on track to be my GOAT. It feels like the definitive Mario, which is my favourite franchise ever. I think it balances perfectly exploration and platforming, so for those who missed a sandbox Mario will have a great time, and for those who love level-based platforming Mario like me, there are also lots of that.

They told me the SNES Classic would be easy to find and I still don't have one. I didn't think I could trust them! Lol!
Just 100%'d my first Kingdom. All the currency and moons for the Cascade Kingdom!
One down, Many more to go.

Still in the Forest World (4th) and about to go to the lake world. I backtracked to collect all of the moons that I could before more unlock at endgame. So far I cleared out the first three worlds and I am almost done the fourth. At that point I will finally advance the story...god only knows how many hours I have truly put into it as I lost track today and my Switch won't give me an estimate for another week or so.
