This, is, imo, the best decision the Trump Admin. has made since it started. This should have been in place years ago, forget being banned from going to Cuba, NK is a dangerous country for any American to visit. Especially since Un is a complete psychopath.

Great move that I fully support for once XD

Wanna know if you guys agree with it or not

Land of the free.

... I always wondered why people go there anyway. To see if all the stuff is true? Not exactly like you can explore and experience the culture.

Hmm, pie.

Sucks, but I get it.

An American citizen in peril in North Korea is a huge liability for the State Department.

I dont support it. There is nothing bad in tourism, fuck NK is unique land. Ur natural selection stuff is lolworthy OP. I still miss their Arirang :( fuck UN sanctions.

As far as I can recall from an article: You are sent in a pre-set part of their main city where the 'rich' live to give the illusion of normacy to the rest of the world. Everything else is blocked off. And when you go to your hotel you're instructed not to leave at night.

So it's a very bizzare experience. I think people go for the weird experience

Long overdue. We also need to get revenge on them for the axe murder incident of August 18, 1976.

oh but you can, you have limits but you can. Source: I have friends who went to NK and yeah it's some Bioshock level of shit, but they had guides and if you obey their rules you can explore a lot.

I think it's just as much for the bragging rights as for the weird experience. When people ask about your holidays saying any of the usual places is just like "oh, that's nice". Say north Korea and people will be like "wait, what!?"

I agree that's part of it for sure. I've thought of it myself back when I was younger, honestly

If people want to go over to NK and get tortured and god knows what else, I say let them. Like you said, it's just life handing out more Darwin awards for naive and daft people. The rational side of my brain says "it's for their own good" and the liberal/rebellious says "Who's the government to control where I should and should not go?"

Ultimately, I don't support the ban. These are grown people were talking about, they should not need hand holding from anybody.
