As a totally neutral fan who respects all the systems, you should sell your PS4 asap before Sony drops the price again.

Use the cash to buy a Switch and then come holiday season, if you don't like your Switch you can sell it on ebay for double the price and buy a Scorpio instead.

"totally neutral fan"

"who respects all the systems"

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

I have been with Pepsi since the 90's, drunk more then 1500 physical cans of Pepsi.
Love Crystal Pepsi and Diet.
Has a weird strong loyalty feeling ( with everything not just crystal and diet)
And tbh never really cared that much about coca cola.

But Lately i have been changing.
Instead of spending 500-600 on Pepsi cans that i dont even have time to drink i now spend max 100 a month.
Instead of buying every new flavor at launch i look at the cans i truly want and wait for pricedrops on everything else.

Quality above quantity i guess.

Since i saw a coca cola can my interest was piqued, it genuinely looks cool and the portability is a nice feature ( i'am not a table drinker!)

After seeing the new coke zero i was blown away,

But i do believe switching to coke for a couple of cans is not worth it,and lets first say this yes coke is getting more flavors but soo does Pepsi in a much bigger way.

But flavors like Coke Zero, Cherry Cola, vanilla coke, and who knows maybe( hopefully) also a can of Cherry Coke Zero is really itching my taste senses..

The system has a lot of appeal to general video game enthusiasts, so I'm not surprised. Lots of PS or XBox owners want one after being shown one.

Not really, it has mega appeal to nintendo fans.  And some appeal to the small hardcore types that buy everything.

Lots - a large number or amount; a great deal.

Not lots, lots would be tens of millions of people.

Well a lot of those "buy everything" types didn't buy a Wii U.

The main gray Switch model doesn't even look like a Nintendo device, if you'd have shown me it 18 months ago with no context, no logos and said "this is a Microsoft or Nvidia portable", I would've said "yeah ... ok".

I've shown the system to many PS/XBox owners the response is almost always overwhelmingly positive.

It's a portable game console, on a scale well beyond the Vita/3DS, as such it has appeal as a new video game product category period.

zelda is good but not on its own worth buying a switch for, id say wait a few months at least

Yeah, I'd agree with this. For some reason, Zelda just hasn't grabbed me the way it has much of the rest of the world. I've already played MK 8 quite a bit more and had more fun with it.

As for OP, the Switch is a nice little system. It definitely has the most potential of any handheld I've played. It's basically a Vita 2, big and satisfying to play, and the controls are comfortable. That being said, the system is very limited right now. Granted, gaming is its primary objective, and it does it well, so it's worth a purchase for those who want it, but outside of Mario Kart, I don't use mine for much else. The library is sure to get quite good over the next year, however, and I doubt the system will receive much of a price cut, so if you want to buy it now, I'm sure you'd be satisfied with it.

I didn't read all the comments, but am I the only one who read the OP as if he was saying the Unlimited Blade Works chant?

Also, if you want a Switch then just get one.
