Yes, but there are contradictions, so how it's interpretated depends on societal factors. For example, in some parts it says only Muslims go to Heaven. Yet, in other parts it also says that Jews in Christians do, too.

As I already wrote in this thead, the simplest explanation could be that Khadija were the true author of the original tolerant parts of Quran, then after her death, Muhammad added intolerant "satanic"    verses.
Just like some scholars think that the first parts of the Bible could have been written also by female priestesses of at least another deity, then the caste of male priests totally overthrew female ones and imposed monolatry.

Honestly, I'm not against the Muslim religion, but when they start killing people over it, you need to do something about this. Not sure what's so hard to get about it.

Human beings are fucked up. Maybe you (yeah, YOU) as an individual are okay but your group is horrible. Whether black or white, young or old, rich or poor, religious or non, vegan or carnivore--the group you're classified under is horrible.

Looking at some other group and saying "Look at those monsters over there. Sickening." may make you feel better but it doesn't take away from the fact that your peers are just as bad.
