And you can't really blame the possible March YOY drop on the Scorpio specs announcement. The announcment didn't happen until this month.

Oof. That is not a good sign for MS. Sales are more than likely down YoY. I hope they don't think this is just a lul before Scorpio comes out. Because they could very well be in for an unpleasant surprise.

Just an observation, it's pretty funny how low Microsoft's PR sinks. Sometimes it's best to just stay quiet, looking at their PR statement today would be such a day.

i fully agree. as i said earlier in the thread they are hitting the bottom of the barrel. its honestly starting to be a bit pathetic.

So far only Microsoft has come out with a public statement regarding the results. Xbox Corporate Vice President of Marketing Mike Nichols shared the following:

Looking ahead, we are excited to share more about our plans for Xbox One, including launching the world’s most powerful console – Project Scorpio – alongside an amazing lineup of new Xbox One games. We are thrilled with the incredible response we have received to date for Project Scorpio, and look forward to sharing more about the Xbox One family of devices in the coming months.

only 14% while the total number of Xbox ONE rose by ~30%? That's not good Microsoft, that's actually quite bad. It just means that more and more Xbox are collecting dust

Do you guys think the Xbox One will ever win another NPD? I mean...The Switch seems to be doing quite well and the PS4 is well, the PS4. I don't know if there's room for the Xbox One to take the lead anymore.

I love the people saying the MS PR means Microsoft is doing good / bad.

You literally can't tell if MS are doing good or bad by that one piece of PR. It's very meaningless.

But hey, people gotta argue over something on a video games forum.
