I feel like ths is a thread to downplay Horizon/Zelda. Why just not look at it like this, that im pretty sure Zelda will have really really good lifetime sales and i hope the same will be the case for Horizon and its looking good for that i would say.

I agree. If I could I would also by Horizon, but I don't plan to buy a PS4. Both are great games and enjoy the one you want to.

When did Horizon launch in Uk, surely it wasn't march 3rd...

Interesting that sales of Zelda is so heavily skewed in favor of the Switch version, the people at my local Webhallen told me the same thing; pre-orders for Zelda on Switch were high enough that they wouldn't really have enough for everyone and certainly nothing in the store for walk-in purchase but they more than enough for Wii U.
I'm getting more and more certain that the vast majority of the Switch pre-orders were in fact Wii U owners upgrading, which makes things really interesting in many different ways.

Wasn't that always clear though? Who would buy the Switch right now if not a Wii U owner? Certainly not the 3DS owners, there's not enough software yet. Kids are getting their presents on christmas. I doubt there was anyone purchasing the Switch at launch that's not a Wii U owner or part of the general Nintendo fandom.

Holiday numbers should be more telling about Switch's broad appeal. Until then only Wii U owners will be buying and maybe one or two 3DS owners with too much money on their hands.

I bought it and never owned a Wii U.

1st of March.

Though it doesn't really matter, it's not like the headline would be any different if Zelda/Switch launched March 1st too.

Yeah, I guess so. But this is a marathon not a sprint..

Sure, but this thread is about 1st week sales, I've only seen one person in this thread say that this means Horizon will outsell Zelda lifetime.

Oh, only FW... so that includes 3-3 to 3-6? Because Horizon would be 2-28 - 3-6 going by when this data is available. Or maybe it's just first day? I'm kinda confused.

Game is sold out on Amazon FR and DE. How do these PS4 games keep getting sold out lol. Considering an ever growing digital % ratio, Horizon is an absolute beast.

Didn't the experts on this and other forums say Zeruda would sell more though?

Worldwide LT, I'm sure it will.
