why didn't the wiiu zelda version sell more than the switch version? the wiiu must have sold more than 80000 units in the uk.

Probably because the WII U is dead, as it is for me. I have a WII U and still got a switch with Zelda on it.

so your logic is flawed? gotcha

The PS4 Pro is sold out in many stores in UK (& Germany, France, Usa). Really pity, Sony should produce more!

I really wished Sony would release Pro numbers.  But in regards to Zelda if Nintendo sold through 80% of Zelda, I would consider that a huge win regardless of HZD.

You didn't understand the point of the lower attach rate on PS4 for Horizon Dawn on your first part of your reply. What you've just said is already covered in the 90%+ of UK gamers which doesn't care about Horizon Zero Dawn on its first week.
You missed the point of the attach rate on your second part aswell. I am talking about the first week, not about 3 years.

We are still talking about the statistic in the OP.

No, it cannot be compared to something like Uncharted Golden Abyss. If you really want a compare then compare it to Twilight Princess on Wii. Because that's a way more similar situation.

Also:
Uncharted: Golden Abyss sold only 44k globaly in it's first week (UK 29k). It did 1.54 million lifetime globaly.
Zelda: Twilight Princess sold 432K globaly in it's first week (UK 13k ). It did 7.16 million lifetime globaly.

I understood it just fine. You didn't.

Unsurprisingly, you didn't answer any of my questions and you didn't get my comparison with UGA. It had an insanely high attach rate in its first week sales because that was THE game to own for everyone who bought a psv (also, please don't tell me you think that more than half of its first week sales came from the UK). PS games don't have that kind of attach ratios, but thanks to it being a launch title and by far the biggest game on psv, it sold better than it would have had it launched this week or 2 years ago. Just because there are more psvitas out now, doesn't mean they are all active or they won't have anything else to play.

The wii did incredibly well and the main focus of gamers and the general public purchasing one was wii sports. The console came with a game so wii owners most certainly had another equally good option. Switch owners (and psv owners) do/did not.

It it really that much of a surprise that Nintendo isn't No.1. in the UK? It's been a while since that was the case.

Game is sold out on Amazon FR and DE. How do these PS4 games keep getting sold out lol. Considering an ever growing digital % ratio, Horizon is an absolute beast.

Didn't the experts on this and other forums say Zeruda would sell more though?

It's like Nintendo's user base in the UK is way smaller than Sony's or something. Weird stuff.

I'm making a cut here. It's pointless to go on.
Several people already agree with me on this one. I've pointed the most obvious one out and that's it. If you want to keep on going on, than attach yourself to one who said the same thing as I did.

Have fun.

I feel like ths is a thread to downplay Horizon/Zelda. Why just not look at it like this, that im pretty sure Zelda will have really really good lifetime sales and i hope the same will be the case for Horizon and its looking good for that i would say.

More importantly it's sold out on Amazon.com too. Looks to be performing very well in all regions.
