All those people saying im wrong dont seem to ubderstand something : context. Call of Duty said this about the Wii U because they were hyping up a underpowered system that they could still use. If Bethesda didnt believe that their games would sell and run well on Switch, they ouldnt say anything because theyve been quick to criticize Nintendo in the past. Uts not the same betweeb the two companies AT ALL.

If Nintendo came to Bethesda with money to make a deal to have them feature in their commercial, and the game in question is a port of a 7th Gen game (Skyrim Remastered) which I'm sure they can have run well on Switch, why would Bethesda not say something positive about Switch?

I'm like you. I never fell for the no man's sky hype (waiting for it to be under $20 on sale) and I'll not fall for the Switch hype either.

Nintendo for a long time now has been well behind the competition in terms of the power inside it's console. Why would that change now.

Especially for a tiny handheld. Look at Jimmy Fallon holding that thing. Very thin, and looked like a phone with handles.

Well, even though I totally knew better, I started to believe the 1 TF stuff. At least the Switch will be a fully portable Wii U level machine. That's cool. But as underclocked as it is, it should sell for no more than $199 with a game, $149 without a game.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

I wonder will they ever come back and build a ground breaking home console. The Gamecube was their last console to do it.

Nintendo fans can always hope. I'm still getting Switch day one.

I think those days are over.

Nintendo will continue to make portable centric hardware like Switch as long as there's a market for it, but basically this is a way for them to exit the console business while still being able to keep a few toes in the water.

Nintendo's console division, aside from a tremendous 4 year stretch with the Wii's early/mid days, has been a trainwreck for the better part of 20 years.

If you had told me 20 years ago as a big Nintendo fan with a brand new N64 that this is how the next 20 years would go for Nintendo consoles, I wouldn't believe you.

Just can't run a division so incompetently and think it was going to run that way forever without major changes.

My wings aren't melted, Switch still is the most powerful handheld console of all time according to the rumors. So I'm not dissapointed obviously.

About 3 times the power of the Vita.

150+ Gflops (neogaf) when not docked, abit under what the Wii U is.

Its decent as a handheld.

As a home console I was hopeing for abit more "oompf" to it.

Yeah, I expected a handheld, so I'm not disappointed. And it's not only the power that says to me Nintendo thought that as a handheld.
