The map size is nowhere near as big as Xenoblade X. It's up to LoZ: BOTW now, or will Xenoblade X rule as the biggest world actually made (not procedurally generated) this gen?

*edit* Just Cause may be bigger, but at least the biggest of the 3 game pre release world size prediction? (FF XV, LoZ:BOTW, and Xeno X)

Ya I was a bit surprised, when people speculating how big it was, that it turned out to be some what smaller.

Yeah but nothing is in it. XCX is a very imaginative world that even if nto the biggest in all gaming (that goes to Elder Scrolls 2 by a massive margin) but the sense of scale in XCX is insane. They do a great job making you feel smaller than you are.

I thought Dragon Age: Inquisition was bigger with all inside areas? The Hinterlands alone are huge.

Ehhh, debatable since Just Cause 3 has plenty of destructibility around. In any case, OP questions if Xenoblade Chronicles X has the biggest handmade world this gen, and that has go to Just Cause 3 instead.

It's not that big really. The game isn't open world but regional like XB on Wii but much smaller than that game. . All of that game could fit in Primordia with plenty of  room to spare.

He should edit it to biggest RPG. Zelda BotW still counts as the first time since Zelda II is the game a RPG essentially.Tho it's still smaller than XCX by 40 Square Kilometers
