It's still fun to go back and watch all those trailers and see how development evolved all through its dev cycle. That's why I wouldn't mind at all if they did the same thing next gen. It's also crazy to think how amazing I thought the very first Monolith Soft X looked so incredible, and yet it kept getting better and better. Hell, I'd love a teaser for Bayo 3 as well. Lol.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3, please return to the style of Chronicles 1 too, plz. It would be so glorious.

There are definitely things I'd like to see from both games. Open world, customization,and skells from X; and a more focused story from the original, also a more classic soundtrack like the original but maybe a few accent pieces like in X. Mix them and create something that surpasses both.

Excite! However, I think it's most likely a port of XCX, since Nintendo said they didn't want to announce or show new games so far in advance anymore like they did with Wii U. Alternatively, a HD remaster of Xenoblade Chronicles would be AMAZING. Or, maybe it's a direct sequel to XCX. Otherwise, maybe just because they're helping out with Breath of the Wild. I can't wait for their next game though! And they've had a year and a half, so who knows?

Well, if it's any consolation Takahashi said he is taking reception into account for the next installment. Nintendo never done that.
