That's cruel because I want the FFVII remake bad and would need to buy another system for it (and I most likely will have to anyway since I have my doubts about it hitting Switch) so I have to pick SMRPG2 regardless. Give me more Geno and Mallow!

I didn't mean exclusive just some wheel greasing to ensure a port to Nintendo.

Well I can definitely say I see a future where two of these games could florish and entice sales of a console. The third not to much.

That's true. While a simple port could do the job, some peopel would probably avoid it due to the old graphics, sadly.

Well in that case I'll say Xenogears remake.
I never played Super Mario RPG, but it's one of those games I hope to get around to one day.

It isn't just the PS1 graphics though, it's the entire abomination that is disk 2.

 

Difficulty the greatly spike and falls, the lack of playing the game, the terrible pacing. It really is just gathering the anima relics and fighting the major bosses.

I could also see random battles as being an outdated concept that would turn a lot of people off though. There was a lot of take two steps and battle in it. 

 

It would really need an updating to compete in todays market where entire games are built around an  interactive movies concept. No longer does a deep, complex story have the ability to be the sole purpose of picking a game up.

All of these games are good choices. But I have to go with the most underdeveloped game to get a remake. That'd be Xenogears. Hell, Xenogears isn't even a finished game. I want them to remake it in full 3D for switch!

Super Mario RPG was dope as f***.
Its right up there with TTYD.

Its one of the best RPGs ever with Mario in it.
Getting S-E to help nintendo make a new one would be great....

Nintendo has lost its sh*t with these paper mario games that are like sticker star.
