Since when are you able to play uncharted 4 on the Vita outside your home?

Since May 10th 2016

Oh you mean with that awful streaming technology that needs internet to work, lol

Yeah is the same...

I thought with a Vita you can play your ps4 games outside?

With a strong WIFI you can get quite far from your home lol.

I think this thread needs a poll. ;)

Like:
- Being able to take it on the go or play at home.
- New 3D Mario
- Different controller options
-3rd party support to start (We'll see if it actually sticks though)

Dislike:
- The name, though I think it will grow on me as time goes by.
- Appears to be a bit underpowered, which is worrisome of whether or not 3rd parties will stick around this time.
- That has got to be the smallest d-pad I have ever seen in my life. Is that even a d-pad, what is that?!?

In general, I did like it. But I wasn't completely blown away.
I need more solid, crucial information. Like price, bundles, launch lineup, release date, etc.
These are all things that can be easily solved with a "you know what" starting with the letter D!

dude, gimmicky? it's functionality, can you play skyrim and nba outside on your ps4?

It`s definitely a gimmick to people who don`t care about playing games outside...

What about people on the go, on vacation, business trip, Kids school plays and events.  Hell, anything you would use a DS for when not at home.  I am not a big Nintendo gamer but this device does appeal to me.  Probably will replace my PS Vita as my travel companion depending on functionality.

I liked the BOTW footage but thats about it. Just looks like more gimmicky nonsense from Nintendo.

And this looks like just another non-sense shitting from a well known suspect.

There is no gimmick on the console, being able to turn into handheld is not a gimmick, it makes a pretty big difference

I just wanted a regular console without that awful d-pad, detachable controllers, and docking stations. Sorry if that pisses you off. Just my opinion.

I hated the parts that showed Skyrim, that's not something to show off, and it may imply that they don't have newer third party games to parade.... and that's expected, just don't give Skyrim undeserved advertising time XD

I liked everything else.

Baffled by the lack of touch-screen functionalities though. However, the trailer was heavy on games and the OS didn't make an appearance. So it's still unreasonable to assume they are not using a touch-screen.

Japan will gobble this hot stuff up.

To be fair there has been cross play and cross save functionality in the Vita for a long time. We're really not seeing anything groundbreaking here.

You said it had to be similar to XBO in power minimum...

There's a huge difference between the Wii U and the XBO. I'm pretty sure halfway in-between can run Skyrim Remastered.

Half way in between is still well above the Wii U and not Wii U level like the OP thought, it's not even just texture that are improved in the remastere either despite some of them being 4K it also has higher resolution over the original, improve effects over the original, improved lighting, improved depth of field, mapping and all. With all of these it wouldn't run half way between the two so it must be in range of it.

Good to know. So we are saying (as far as we know by simply looking at a video so keeping that in mind) better than Wii U, but not quite Xbone in power. As always TBD based on when Nintendo actually reveals in depth.

You asked the question, I answered.  I believe the 3g Vita's are even more versatile.

The console has a normal gamepad too, and when is on the dock is just a homeconsole.
