I've only played Bravely default, i didn't get too far before getting bored but i think i need to revisit it before passing judgement.

Why must you make me suffer like this?!?
I LOVE the Bravely Default Games for bringing back all I loved about oldschool FF in a modernized, streamlined version, but im also a BIG Fan of the Crystal Chronicles Games for their world, the more direct battle system and the clever puzzles.

Though, in the end I guess id go with BD simply because it still exists and evolves, while CC kinda tripped over its own feet, despite having some very cool ideas.

Still, I love CC the Crystal Bearers despite all the problems the game had, I dont care, bite me!

Have to go with Bravely, though the crystal chronicle games are a mess on Ninten consoles. The Wii one was a weird title, and the GC one took so much work to assemble. If you could pull it off, it was great fun, but it takes too much work.

Brave is just FF with a new face. The good ones that is. Brave takes it.

Yeah between apples and grapes I prefer pears, but I'd rather Bravely Default. It's much better, CC was good only on gamecube, and even then it was not even one heck of a game. And the Wii one looks like fun. Bravely Default is awesome, great graphics and gameplay, seconds was also good.

Bravely Default doesnt have Final Fantasy in its name nor is it a spinoff so I guess going by the poll - CC should be the only answer although I feel Final Fantasy VI advance released in 2007 for GBA pretty much puts both to shame.

Its like vivster says - closest to a spiritual successor you will get.

You wouldnt call Xenosaga a sequel or a spinoff of Xenogears - same with Xenoblade - they are all spiritual successors to Xenogears.

Between the two - I would say Bravely Default despite the terrible story direction in the 2nd half of the game.

Other than that CC hasnt been a good game since the 1st game. The Nintendo DS/Wii games were pretty bad/mediocre to even the original CC which was considered to be heavily flawed.

Flying Fairy is FF, lol.
