The circlejerk around this picture is dumbfounding.

I think I've seen her before, but I have no idea whats going on in that picture. It looks super serious :o

She's currently being arrested for standing in a highway (Street is called Airline Hwy where hundreds of businesses, thousands of commuters, and two hospitals use for ambulance service) after ignoring the first two Police warnings.

Sounds good. Is she being celebrated for standing up to the man, and stuff like that? 100% assumptions from me.

I guess that's how some are viewing it, but she was part of the "Black Lives Matter" numbskulls blocking the road for no apparent reason. Honestly their road blocking makes absolutely no sense, and they should all be arrested when they do that stuff.

How can you say that if they managed to make the news world wide with that action. Having a demonstration in a designated out of the way demonstration zone is far from as effective as blocking roads. Try living in France for a while, blocking roads for any strike is a tradition. It works.

Why are the BLM people considered numbskulls? Any reasoning behind that statement? And road blocking and protesting makes a lot of sense actually and has always got people to "stop and pay attention".

Because BLM is a bit like feminism in that it has a complete inability to produce a coherent argument.

I continue to see absurd comparisons to the infamous tiananmen square protest picture.

Really? I thought it had a pretty coherent arugment. Pretty direct one at that. Ah well to each his/her own I guess.

There have been several marches and protests coordinated with city and state police that have gone completely without arrest or incident. Blocking a major highway is dangerous to you and everyone who is driving there. There are ways to get noticed and send your message that don't include endangering yourself and others.

On Sunday, they had to arrest 50 people who tried to climb onto I-10 (the one that runs from Los Angeles to Jacksonville), but only 6 of the 50 were actually from Louisiana. So that's a consolation prize at least.

In my eyes, BLM is a religious cult. I think the world would be a better place if they disbanded and did something more productive with their lives.
But that's ofc just my opinion.
