A bit sad some complaints from people who can't git gud will be making the game easier...

Why dont they just add difficulty levels? Keep it on hard mode and remove it on easy?

I rather it not have an easy mode.
If people are looking for easy games there is more than plenty to look for.
It's nice to have a hard game that's always hard here and there, too.

Disappointed that they are removing durability state. I like caring for my weapons.

Nsh.

Best decision they could have made. At worst they should have just made degradation occur slower, but then the feature just becomes useless.

Game is now back on my radar.

durability should go down if you die. it'll be the penalty for dying.

(never played the demo by the way)

I actually like the durability and it's a shame they're removing it.

I'm surprised they're going to add hints to guide players to bosses. Did people really have a hard time finding bosses? The game is very linear. I hope not a lot will be changed with the stamina.

please don't mess this up team ninja :(

"Removal of weapon and armor durability"
"Improved camera and player behavior while locked on to an enemy"

I told them about the problems with the camera while locked on, so I'm happy to hear they're going to improve it.
I didn't suggest the complete removal of armor/weapon durability though, but rather that you get your items refreshed while visiting a shrine. I did find the sheer amount of gear you find to be annoying though, and that was probably a compensation for the durability system, so that may also be why they are removing it. Made it feel like there was little point to the durability system.
Hopefully that means we'll find fewer, but more high quality loot in the full game.

Regarding stamina... I liked it. It was difficult to manage in the beginning, but after you get the hang of it, it felt more or less fair. Maybe parrying cost a bit too much stamina to perform, often leaving you stunned even if you successfuly time your parry. And since there's little to no invincibility on dodges/rolls in this game, you often had no choice but to block/parry in certain situations. Other than that, I hope they don't change it too much. Maybe it has to do with how you replenish your gray stamina.

So they actually listend to the fans that played the game and are makeing changes that players seem to want?

Good on them.

The lock on and more button slots for abilities, magic, items were some of the things that needs improvement. Stamina could be abused once you got how it worked. I'm fine with equipment durability because you only need to know where vendors are that can repair the stuff or have items you can use for it.

Durability needed to be redone in a very bad way. Maybe not removed completely, but things got broke way too easily.

- Expand item shortcut slots.
Good. That was on many people's wishlist, it seems.

- Adjust the drop rate for equipment.
I hope that means less drops, but higher quality.

- Change the conditions under which the player character becomes unresponsive when the Ki Gauge is empty.
Hmmm.

Implement a flow to allow players to exit a mission.
Yes, please. I was surprised that I couldn't exit back to the world map again after revisiting the first area upon completing it.

Reading those comments at gematsu, it seems a lot are more concerned of the changes than happy about them, and asians seems to be the most that's having a hard time with the game lol.
