This Zelda game for the wii u was teased back in 2011 with a tech demo. The first new HD zelda game. Dont act like its just a few month. This game HAD TO BE released in 2014/2015 as the latest.

Delaying it is th ebest thing they could have done though with Wii U being a commercial failure. NX needa a strong launch line up.

Same here man!
And for those comparing the Uncharted 4 delay to Zelda U delay:
Uncharted 4 was initially planned for holiday 2015 and got pushed back to may 2016 so we are looking at a delayed time of 5 months.
Zelda U was planned for holiday 2015 just like Uncharted 4 however with the knowlegde that we have today we will be getting it in march 2017 so the total delayed time comes at 15! months for zelda U.

Don't forget that the game keeps exclusive for the promised hardware and never stopped showing it, even with a demo for consumers.
