Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Will Color Splash follow in the footsteps of Super Paper Mario?

I hope it actually comes out on the WiiU and bombs pretty badly.

This 100% this.

It absolutely deserves to bomb too. Nintendo needs to learn the hard way. We want a real Paper Mario game, not this.

I think it'll be released on time on Wii U. It looks pretty far in production.

I hope it ends up being a cool game, and doesn't bomb like others hope ; )

Wow, I didn't think you the mean type, actually hoping Nintendo is successful with their slap in the face to the fans.

Doesn't matter which console it comes out on, the game is gonna bomb hard no matter what, because it's yet another half-assed installment in a franchise that Nintendo fans have held in high regard, but Nintendo has been pissing on ever since Super Paper Mario was released.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Nope, I think Nintendo showed it off to receive feedback from Wii U owners, now that they know that the game will sell poorly the only thing that I see them doing is re-use the graphical engine as a start point for another entry on NX...

Nah, they know that it's not worth the effort.

I'm now filled with determination.

The problem with Ninty is not that they don't know how to learn, is that they don't want to learn.

I actually think people hoping for this to bomb are the mean ones. Just because it's not the apparent game people are demanding, doesn't mean it should deserve to fail. And there are people still excited for this game. Don't ruin it for them. For all we know, it could turn out good, and it's a new idea. We shouldn't be quick to hate something that's not like other older games.

It's because they're calling it a Paper Mario game when it's clearly anything but that it should fail, for if it succeeds, chances are we'll never get a real Paper Mario game again. That's ruining it for everyone, as even the few actually interested in Color Splash will still be settling for less. Also it's not a new idea and it is exactly like an older game, that being Sticker Star.

I actually like this new one. It's just a shame that Nintendo games always stay so expensive.

Its not the kind of game i would pay 60 for.
