GC was a flop, 3DS is not. This isn't the Wii U we're talking about here. The installbase of the 3DS is big enough for Pokemon to sell at it's potential, so there'e no reason for extreme measures. Plus if Sun/Moon was also for NX, they wouldn't have announced it before the NX itself is revealed. But yeah fine, it isn't 100% confirmed, that wont be until the NX reveal, but it's a very safe bet it'll be 3DS only.

I think you definitely see 3D Mario and Retro's game if they're ready. They should be close and they have surely been held over for NX. Zelda U definitely gets a port and possibly Smash. I hope/expect a new IP that shows off whatever is apparently unique about the system. Beyond that I expect a hard push to get third party content.

Splatoon 2 and Kart NX I would expect to come a little later.

These 4 are pretty much locks when it comes to games in the launch window

Wont be guessing on any other games at this point but hoping for a few more games ofc.

PS2 was announced 1.5 years before launch

PS3 was announced 1.5 years before launch

PS4 was announced 9 months before launch

Zelda, 2 Ubi generic ports, and some Mario offshoot. Maybe a NX version of the Starfox game.  Minimal 3rd party support because devs JUST got their kits in November. Any original game would take over a year to release. (Which is why I strongly believe in a 2017 release date for the NX)

That's comapring oranges and anvils. A company's business plan is rarely influenced by another's, especially with the consistency of Nintendo.

U missed the point, I'm saying history doesn't always repeat itself.

There´s no chance at all of the game being released this year.
