That would be the dream right there for Nintendo to have full third party support, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

What are these doubts? Anything real, or just a "feeling."
I'll say Zelda Wii U and a new 3D Mario game. Anything else would be a shot in the dark.

My thoughts are usually just me guessing so nothing 'real'
There are a lot of rumors though XD

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

That's the one in talking about. |
Oh, well that's not happening! See gen 5.
twintail said: Ports of Smash, Pokken and Splatoon, Zelda, Pikmin and Pokémon. New Mario. New AC. Amiibo game. Launch window period. |
I feel like Splatoon 2 would be perfect for the NX launch, not a port. I mean it will have been a year and a half and the first game only took a year as it was. With how popular Splatoon is I feel like a simple port would be squandering some of the series' selling power.
The other ports make sense though. I'd also assume we get a Hyrule Warriors ultimate edition of some sort, adding in both games plus the DLC and then announcing a third season pass because why not, people will buy it.
You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt! I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading. After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
From Nintendo:
-Zelda HD
-Pikmin 4
-A new IP that showcases the system capabilities (they always do this since Mario 64)
From third parties:
-Sports games
-Some fps (probably CoD, Battlefield, etc.)
-Some Ubi titles
-Party/Casual games (Skylanders, Lego, etc.)
-Important Japanese titles like Final Fantasy XV
-At least 1 third party exclusive (some rumors about Beyond Good and Evil 2)
-Some late ports (like Rise of the Tomb Raider) that will flop
Something like that. I bet the launch will be pretty good.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
My guesses:
Launch day (November 2016):
- Legend of Zelda U (the same day that it releases on the Wii U)
- Super Smash Bros for Nx (port leaked earlier this year)
- New 3D Mario game (Galaxy - 2007, Galaxy 2 - 2010, 3D World - 2013, next 3D Mario - 2016?)
- Pikmin 4 (Nintendo said the game was "almost done" last year.)
- Beyond Good and Evil 2 (We're seeing a lot of the console manufacturers funding AAA games but third-party publishers lately. I'm not as skeptical of this rumor as most people are)
Launch window (2017)
- Mario Kart 9 (Mario Kart DS - 2005, Mario Kart Wii - 2008, Mario Kart 7 - 2011, Mario Kart 8 - 2014, Mario Kart 9 - 2017?)
- Retro Studio's next game... Probably Metroid Prime 4 (Prime 3 - 2007, DKCR - 2010, DKCTF - 2014, next game - 2017?)
- Animal Crossing
- Ports of Pokken Tournament, Splatoon, and Super Mario Maker.
- Something to surprise us. A new IP like Splatoon, a return to a dormant franchise, or a non-Nintendo game that Nintendo is funding like Bayonetta 3. If they really want to cause an uproar, they should make an open-world Pokemon RPG exclusive to the Nx.
Expect it to launch with a Madden title, Call of Duty, possible refreshed title that was going to be released for the Wii U modified to run on the NX. I won't bother listing games from Nintendo because I am still fully expecting backwards compatibility and cross play between a online Wii U and 3DS and the NX.
Why people want to buy new console with Zelda, Mario, Smash and Splatoon ports? What's the point, if you already own all the games on Wii U? NX obsession looks sick.
