a 299$ PS VR headset is going to steal the intire market away from these guys at this rate.

But a lot of people do not seem to care, they only want to hop in to VR-train and anything will do, even if it actually meant inferior VR-experience.

Just like PS4's 1080p30FPS is inferior to lets say 1440p60FPS... and still PS4 is a better option overall.

What is an inferior VR experience.... You dont know how above and beyond the other two have gone...

You could buy all three VR products, use it and then complain they are all inferior... thats the problem with VR right now... it's early days, but I dont think people on the street want to pay $700 for one.

Yes it could happen that all big 3 are considered inferior to expectations but the cheapest, most compromised product has also the biggest chance of becoming "useless" in the next few years when VR-software really starts to evolve. Personally I think quality VR and mass adoption can't be done financially yet, the tech is too expensive.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

That's not what I'm really after, because there is always something better. Completely fictional but it's more like a person in 2013 is interested in PS4/X1, the next-gen so to speak. That person has a certain expectations towards next-gen but don't want to pay $399. Instead this person buys a competing product costing $199 and ends up with a shitty next-gen experience.

everything valve is touching is turning to garbage, hardwarewise

For a new tech this was expected. I think the price with move controller, censors and game is fair. I'll Wait a bit to see some test on the different VRs out there.

My guess is that PSVR will be priced at $ 500.

It's a hefty price, sales will be modest at best.

Also, while it's $200 more expensive, the fact that it's a complete solution unlike the competition (with the two hand controllers and two tracking stations), make it compelling option.

And it remains to be seen how they manage the price outside of the US, because if it's 799 € and the shipping costs are reasonable (HTC sells its phones in Europe, so both things should be doable), then the distance against the Rift isn't that great...

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Looks like my ultimate porn experience will have to wait

Expected but yeah, seeing as Oculus is already a load of BS for us Aussies I can already imagine how bad this will be. Im thinking maybe $1399 at the cheapest here.
