I’m not gonna lie, I’m worried for Retro Studios and Metroid Prime 4.

Yeah, Monolith wins because they actually put out games, but saying that they're an elite studio is still misleading, as their games aren't that good. I mean, I love them, but they aren't on par with what EPD produces. However, it's admirable at the same time that they've become an important asset for Nintendo, so that alone makes them greater than Retro Studios, by a landslide.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Yeah, I played it for the first time not a lot of years ago and it held up incredibly well, it's so polished that it also looks like an early X360 game, it has always given me that impression.

Monolith just because they are actually putting out games at the moment, and have assisted in other big Nintendo games.. But overall, Retro Studios games have been consistently awesome. If Metroid Prime rocks, I will put them back over Monolith. Now if Monolith wants to give me another Baten Kaitos games they will take a bigger lead for me.

Look. All I'll say is this.

I stood by Capcom. I rolled with the punches. Took the hits. My years of constant defense paid off. It didn't make me popular for speaking the truth. But I did it knowing it was what's right. If I have to do the same for the developer which made the best Nintendo game of all time, so be it.

Retro will be back. Trust me on this. Now if this isn't the case. If Prime 4 ends up being bad, and if Retro ends up being shut down. Quote me on this. Throw egg on my face. Just know, I did it knowing it was right at the time. And that's all that counts.

Retro. Hasnt been elite since it was left to making 2d platformers. Pretty games .tho.not impressed w monolith either as i dont find combat in xeno fun at all and i dont recall xeno 2 looking very good. Might be the art style tho. The zelda team is the only 1 im a big fan of, but i dont think thats what u meant in ur question. Hopefully retro impresses me w prime4. I loved the 1st 3.
