Uncharted 4 will be the PS4 exclusive, they even delayed it to be the best possible game ND could make. I wouldn't be suprised if it is better than TLOU. It will probably be less impressive gameplay wise. But the graphics, story, animation, immersion, humor and character development and the ridicilously awesome setpieces will make it surpass any Tomb Raider for me. Don't be suprised if metacritic thinks the same way about that.

ya it wont beat Uncharted in metaritic,even if its a good game or ends up being a better game. The name Uncharted and Naughty Dog alone will keep it at at least a 90 imo

That's peanuts compared to what will happen if Rise of the Tomb Raider would score higher then Uncharted 4. I'm not sure the internet could handle it.
OP also forgets that Naughty Dog, despite their extremely high accolades has admitted that the PS3 was holding them back from their true vision of uncharted. This was admitted during the end of the PS3 era. Who knows what naughty dog will do with the ps4 given their drive for quality.
I would tend to disagree. The last three Naughty Dog games have been 90 + games, so U4 being less than 86 would be surprising.

I agree. I think my main gripe with Lara is the voice actress. Her voice and groaning kind of irritate me,, she seems whiney, and I don't find her very likeable. I thought the old Lara Croft was pretty BA. I really liked the TR reboot, but I did not like Lara or ANY of the other characters, or the story; I liked it for the gameplay. Still looking forward to playing RotTR in 2016.
To be honest, while the Uncharted series had a better metacritic than the reboot of Tomb Raider, i found Tomb Raider better than Uncharted.It really felt more like you were fighting for your life, the exploration was superb(which in Uncharted there is next to none), and the combat overall was better.The only thing that uncharted does better than Tomb Raider, in my opinion, is the story, but not by much.And while i think I will like more Rise of Tomb Raider than UC4, I dont think Rise will score better than it.UC4 seems to have learned a thing or two from Lara, and looks like the world will be more open now, and the combat seems more engaging.We will need to see, but i find it hard for it to score 86 or lower
