Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Cloud From FFVII In Smash Bros!

Honestly this just doesn't feel right, certainly doesn't make any sense. And whatever happened to keeping 3rd party characters at a minimum? Seems like they threw that rule out the window. I guess next we'll be seeing Master Chief and Nathan Drake lel. Also there's no reason Snake can't return then, atleast he had mainline games on Nintendo systems.

This is the strangest reveal. I can't even play FF7 on any Nintendo system ever!

Which is why the posts above yours have some credence to them! Otherwise, Cloud will be the first character to ever appear in Smash that is impossible to play on a Nintendo console.

He was in the Theatrhythm games, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Final Fantasy Explorers, and Puzzle & Dragons.

But still, there's definitely more that they haven't announced. They wouldn't let Cloud in without Square Enix doing something bigger with him, I'm sure.

HELL. YEEEEEEEEEEAHS!

So HYPED! @_@ Still in shock this is happening. Can't believe this is happening...

I need to lie down.

Probably the best character they could have added (also the most unexpected) and kind of confirms FFVII remake for Nintendo's next platform?

I suppose Ryu confirms sfv on nx too....

Yeah devs are pretty open about bringing their IP's over even if it means nothing more. Look at snake at ssbwii, didn't mean any mgs game came to wii(I believe)

But the FFVII remake as been labeled as a timed exclusive unlike SFV. That means it's coming elsewhere later on and the NX is probably more likely than the XBO although PC is still ahead.

So weird. Anything goes these days.

Meh... I still want a PlayStation All-Stars 2.

Hey don't click here ! It's creepy !!

I want a PlayStation All-Stars Sequel ! Come on Sony, stop making too many shooters !

I'll make a better signature when I'll have time to do it...

Can't believe I forgot about all of those games, but I guess I was thinking of mainline Final Fantasies. At least you can play an actual Metal Gear Solid that's considered canon to the storyline in Snake's case.

Totally did not expect this!

There is a lot of content behind this DLC so hopefully it is priced well.. :/
