Forums - Sony Discussion - Until Dawn is great

I always thought it would be great. I'm always right, BTW.

It was alright. When i say it is alright, i mean it was better than every David Cage game. Yes, including Heavy Rain which i liked it. So, you can say it is pretty good or i guess you can say it is alright.

Decent seven hours to spend with very annoying characters and trying to help them survive.

Alright.

Tearaway Unfolded is surely, surely going to be the core of a well promoted "family bundle" for the holidays. Sony owuld be stupid to concentrate all their efforts on the shooty shooty fanbase. Their "exclusive" entries in the holidays so far are Star Wars (exclusive marketing), Destiny (exclusive marketing), Uncharted (exclusive game), CoD (exclusive marketing). Star Wars normally has familky appeal to it, but Battlefront being a MP only shooter doesn't have any sort of family appeal. Tearaway is their diversity play. Until Dawn is a diversity play too of course, and I could see perhaps an Until Dawn / Bloodborne "horror" bundle being something too, 2x 2015 non-remaster exclusives.

I keep imagining I could get a game that my wife would enjoy spectating, but I doubt I could ever get her to spectate a game really. So if I get Until Dawn I'll have to just get it for me and be pretty certain I'd enjopy it as a solo experience. trouble is I don;t really like watching horror movies solo so...

That's uncanny. My family pack would be Tearaway: Unfolded, LBP3 and Journey. My horror pack would be Bloodborne, Until Dawn and TLOUR.

The PS5 Exists.

I used to think you were cool.  I was wrong.  I ordered you a beer. I'm cancelling the order.

This game shut up a lot of haters.

This!

And also, i think David Cage had cold sweats when he played this game. He knows that he has to knock it out of the park with his next game, which makes the healthy competition inside Sony devs more interesting, everyone aiming for the better. Which at the end of the day it is all good and dandy for us Playstation users.

This is a great time to have a Ps4.

If you have a ps4, and are tired of the same old franchises, you owe it yourself to buy this game. It really is the surprise hit of the year.

In March I got Helldivers (still playing that, easily GOTY for me)

In July I got Rocket League

In August I got Until Dawn

There have been others along the way but the above 3 are the standouts so far this year that I think all PS gamers should indulge in and enjoy

Its an awesome game, the story is very well crafted, it looks nice and the choice system was implemented better than on most games of this genre. My personal ratting for it is 9.0. Liked it as much as I did Heavy Rain and more than I did Walking Dead (both seasons), Wolf Among Us and beyond Two Souls but less than Im liking Life is Strange (to put it in perspective).

This is becoming my favourite genre and having played all of them, I gotta ask. How do you feel about the voice acting in Life is Strange? I quite liked the game, but I find it hard to enjoy it every time the voice actress who plays Max delivers a line. Easily the worst voice acting I've experienced in a story driven video game. Other than that the game (based on the demo) seemed pretty awesome.

I dont dislike Max's voice acting, its not phenomenal but she speaks like the way she does on purpose. It makes Max feel a bit acward and like she doesnt have that much self steem wich is the whole point.
