what i mean are games who have different ports for different platforms but none of them is the definitive version. For example: 

Castlevania Symphony of the Night:

-On PS1 it has the best graphics who utilize 3D rendered effects because the PS1 CPU was stronger than one of the two CPUs of the Saturn, almost zero loading times and no lag.

-On Sega Saturn the game is lagging a lot even compared to a PS1 PAL version which runs @50hz its inerior. Almost in every room you see effects who look different and the majority of times its for the worse than on the PS1. A lot of areas have loading times who reset also the music after that.

But the Sega saturn version has extra content. Some extra levels, enemies and  bosses and you can play as Maria. Alucrad is also able to dash with an extra Item.

Man would it be awesome if Konami somehow can take the PS1 version add the extra content to it and releasing it as a Physical version for PS4. That would be an instant buy for me.

Is there such a game for you where you wish it would have a definitive version?

Metal Gear Solid PS2 games in the HD Collection (2 and 3) used a lot of the assets and reworks fron their rereleases (Substance and Subsistence), but ended up taking some of the special features, game modes, and easter eggs out of them. I'd love to see a reremaster of those 2 games, while also having at least some more of the content cut from the HD version.

Yeah! It was terrible that they erased the skateboarding minigame from 2 and the Ape Escape thing from 3 on the HD!

All the games I own are definitive.

Legacy of Kain collection with every game running at 60 frames per second.

HD Metriod Prime Trilogy with multiplayer. Also HD mario 64.
