Forums - Gaming Discussion - Let's talk about Resident Evil.

RE2 is my fav.

Then resident evil code veronica, followed by RE4 and RE1 rebirth.

And of course, the worst RE for me are RE5 and 6.

The 5th is just a bad copy-paste of Re4 with useless coop, and the 6 is too long, with many useless characters and bad coop.

Yeah. In RE4, you was mostly alone all the time, and when you was with the girl, she was useless and you needed to protect her. In RE5 and 6, you'r never alone, and i really don't like that.

Well I'm trying to beat every RE game and im playing through RE5 for the first time right now. It's fucking terrible. Sheva sucks ass, I don't even give her ammo anymore she just wastes it all. It's so predictable when you get to a quiet area that a huge mob is gonna attack you out of fucking no where, every fucking time. It gets old so quick, you spend five minutes killing 30 zombies, get to the next area and bam, another huge hoard comes at you. Im so fucking pissed right now, i knew it wasnt a good game before i started but i just needed to rant. I'm gonna force myself to beat the damn game but I can only finish one chapter a day or I might lose my damn mind.

Find someone to play with. All the Sheva AI and inventory management nightmares are solved when playing co-op with someone good. I personally loved RE5 (even solo) but playing it co-op is amazing.

01: Resident Evil 4 (Not the first one I played but enjoyed it the most, awesome story and game mechanics)

02: Resident Evil Remake (Most scary one)

03: Resident Evil 6 (Never understood the hate, it's one of the best and most diversified action games out there, even if it's not that scary anymore)

04: Resident Evil Zero (Very scary and I liked the fact that you could switch between two characters)

05: Resident Evil 5 (Lots of panic moments with awesome graphics and enemy design)

No it isn't. It tries to appeal to the survival horror crowd too much by having survival horror gameplay designs.
