He and the other EX characters are owned by Arika, the developers of the EX series, not Capcom. That is why you have not seen him, Blair, D. Dark, Skullomania, Kairi, C. Jack, and others in a Street Fighter game since.

yeah I know. But why Capcom can't collaborate anymore with Arika. or buy those characters from them.  a Streete Fighter 3D is really a great game.  They should be able to bring it to consoles and have Arika, Capcom and the whichever console wanted it.

If I'm correct, I believe Arika and Capcom had a falling out. I'm not sure, though. Maybe Capcom doesn't see a huge demand for those characters.

if I were Nintendo or Microsoft, fund it and bring in a Street Fighter 3D game with those characters and maybe 4 new characters.  It is really worth it. :)

maybe it is just me and I'm a fan of the Ex series. ;)

I've been playing Ultra Street Fighter IV with my co-workers during lunch breaks so I'm REALLY hyped for SFV because of all the good things I hear about it (like links being easier to do, V-System being less execution heavy than Ultras, no more re-releases)

Signature goes here!

Well my opinion...

- Fighting games are better today... the engine, gameplay, moves, balance, etc... you can argue it is less popular but that is another talk.
- Fighting games have a better model today (before you got the same game every year just to the publisher get money).

that cross platform play is pretty cool to see in Street fighter, was never a huge fan of Birdie but at the same time SF4 launched with 25 characters and ended up have 44 by Ultra SF4, on top of that... people who say 16 isn't a lot of characters.... how many fighters in a game have you learned to play to a competitive level? 90% of people would be happy if the game just had Ryu/Ken in it :D (not me with my "C to shiny C" but still)
Pretty hyped for it having a league of legends style of unlocking stuff tho, do it slowly by playing or get the wallet out and buy the content you want, win/win and it would encourage more players to go back and play some extra online games so you'll have many ranges of skill in online fights rather than just SF4 sharks playing online to touch up their skills you'll have a broader range trying to earn points to unlock content, Hopefully.

I spectate SF. I was good back with 2 Turbo on my SNES, but nowadays I just don't have the time to invest in learning all the combos and what have you. The last game I was good at was Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. I loved watching EVO over the weekend and can appreciate these games, even if I don't particularly like the art direction.

To be fair I learn the basic of all chars but only master one or two.
