I too thought this was a joke thread. I didn't even believe it completely until I saw the page directly on Nintendo's website. I know he has had health problems for a while, but still, he was only 55! This came out of nowhere.

Im sad he had to go out on the note he did...
His last PR statements was a apology for E3, right?
Would have been better if it had happend right after NX launched and sold millions and millions.

This is terrible news.

He passed away on the 11th at 55 years old.

Whatever one may have felt about his decisions, there's no denying he always had a true passion for the user's experience of gaming.
