Hard question... Is King's Field a RPG?

Around the Network

I don't remember which RPG was the first I played but the first that I managed to beat was Final Fantasy IX and since then it's my favorite game of all time.

Pokemon Blue.

Dragon Quest 9: Sentinels of the Starry Sky's.

Beat it like 3 times and a half.

FF7 or Diablo. (Though I didn't understand FF7 at that time)

My first real RPG experience: Either Icewind Dale or Wizard and Warriors for the PC.

I am a Nintendo fanatic.

Final fantasy 7 on my PSX a long time ago

Probably Paper Mario for the N64

Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!

Yes, the king's field games, like the souls games they spawned, are more considered "Western rpgs" than the typical Japanese fare given its style, gameplay and mechanics, but they are certainly rpgs.

As for myself, super mario rpg for snes.

Final Fantasy VII. I didn't even know what RPG's were and bought it based on the commercial that was nothing but cutscenes. I was too stupid to play it, couldn't get through disk 1 and ended up selling it to a friend.

Pokémon Blue
