I'm not of the of the people that was disappointed that it wasn't a full AC game. My negative opinion comes purely from the fact that it didn't look fun in the slightest. A confusing and un-entertaining mishmash of three properties.

Besides the obvious middle finger to people who wanted an Animal Crossing game on Wii U, it doesn't really look that fun. Just seems like another Mario Party clone.

Ridiculous. Amiibos are becoming a really bad thing...



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

They still might be making a real Animal Crossing game for the Wii U though. I mean.. although this is dumb, it does not rule out the chances. The title will most likely be $40 too.

I don't think they made an Animal Crossing engine for Wii U just for a stupid party spinoff. 

It's just bad that they chose to make the spinoff before the actual game.

I agree. It would be kind of a waste.

 

Here's to hoping they will show it in their next direct or at Gamescom with a summer 2016 release date!
